What Andrew and his team offer is very different to any other secondary school supplier. I'd never seen anything like it before. We feel unique in the area. Our fantastic Transition Handbook is superbly innovative, makes it easier to provide info to parents and new pupils, and demonstrates to families that we are highly professional.
We are particularly pleased with the illustrations and we will use the storybook during our transition meetings. I like the fact that Andrew and his team update it all for free too, which I had never heard of before from such a supplier. This means that our literature will last a very long time and never be out of date. They seem a very ethical company and I would not hesitate to recommend them to other schools.Lorna Philip

Our Starting School illustrated guide is a unique, lively, pupil-friendly way to inform families about transition. Not only does it help ease common transition concerns in a readable and enjoyable way, it also makes starting school a lot of fun! It encourages and supports a pupil's conversation with their parents about starting secondary school.
Because they actually illustrated our school, it made the guide very personal and meaningful.. It's such a great idea!. As well as aiding transition, we can also use it to market the school by handing out to our feeder primaries.
All Scottish schools would benefit from doing this. It's an example of best practice.Jane Macbeth

Our innovative Student Prospectus is perfect to hand out to Year 6 pupils in Partner Primaries and at OpenEvenings, and it can be available as an eBook on your website. With our new Student Prospectus we will certainly stand out!
Cleverly written and illustrated to directly meet the needs of young people - using illustrations actually based on our own school environment and uniform - I feel that we are offering something unique and exciting to potential students.
Young people will definitely want to read our Student Prospectus because of the fun comic style, which will appeal and help them more fully understand what we offer as a Secondary School.Yvonne Watkins

Our Starting School Comic is such a great, fun idea, and the perfect transition tool. There is always a lot to tell children about starting in our secondary school, and using this comic format has enabled us to make the information very pupil-friendly. Children are more likely to want to read the booklet because of the lively comic style.
Our Starting School Comic really does help to allay any transition worries and make starting school even more enjoyable.Stacey Snagg

Our 'Starting Secondary School Storybook' is a brilliant, pupil-friendly way to transition young people in to our school. Our Storybook demonstrates best-practice, professionalism, and helps us to stand out from other secondary schools in the area.
By illustrating our premises, and 'storyboarding' the main worries that parents and pupils have when starting in a new secondary school, we are showing that we care for our pupils before they have even started in our school. It's such an innovative idea and all secondary schools would benefit from having their own 'Starting Secondary School Storybook.Alison Ellis
