Headteacher Says:
Absolutely Delighted
Thankyou SO much for all your help - I am absolutely delighted with the prospectus and the workload for me was minimal - you did all of it!! I don’t want to recommend you to too many people locally because I don’t want their prospectus to be as good as ours!
Case Studies Sell the School
Also the case studies really do capture what our parents say…when new parents want to see what other parents think of Thorpe Acre, they will just click on the studies. We will let our parent stories sell the school and – along with the prospectus – share our story.
Unique Service
I can’t think of another supplier to school who does what you do. With not only recording parent stories and developing your unique parent/pupil case studies…but with integrating the parents to all other literature. Jane Fines, Headteacher, Thorpe Acre School
OFSTED praise Stoneworks Education Ltd 'Starting School Storybook'
The OFSTED team reviewed our transition arrangements and noted the book produced by Stoneworks Education Ltd. They said that the illustrations and ideas within the book were exemplary, enabling children to be prepared for joining the school.

Stoneworks has developed a range of high impact parent case studies across Guildford and also produced for us an eye-catching, parent orientated, A5 booklet which shows parents what we offer. I'm very happy indeed with the service we received.
The literature was of the highest quality and Andrew was quick to develop the literature and apply any amends requested. His costs were competitive and, because he has a great deal of experience in the sector, he had a lot of great ideas... and didn't need to bother us too much as he knew what was needed!Sue Brown
Head, St Pauls C/E Infant School and Children Centre -
Andrew Smith of Stoneworks has produced a stunning achievement booklet for Chelsea Open Air Nursery School and Children's Centre. We had a tight deadline (which he met) as we wanted it for our 80th Birthday Celebration in July 08. The booklet was a great success and had a big impact at our event. We wanted it to show that not only had we been around for 80 years, and it does this... but to also demonstrate that we are as active and vibrant now, as we were then!
Andrew also produced 30 parent case studies that showed how parents had benefited from using the Centre. They are a true and impressive tribute to what we have achieved for our parents and a very moving account of the lives that have passed through our Centre. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Andrew to other Children's Centres.Kathryn Solly

An ideal parent tool that helps them navigate through the year at school, and understand how the school works. Such a brilliant idea!" "Teachers and staff can also use it as an information guide when talking with parents. It also answers many of the questions we usually get asked, so will answer parents very real questions and concerns.

Our Teacher Survival Guide and Recruitment Pack is a fantastic and innovative way to aid the transition of new teachers in to our school. The teacher tips and case studies show what it’s really like to work here, and helps teachers get to know the teaching teams they will be working with. The Guide details the key things a teacher would need to know when starting in our school.
The Guide shows that Whitton is an exciting and vibrant place to work and learn, and that teachers will be joining a team of enthusiastic professionals dedicated to helping pupils to achieve their absolute best. We want to attract the best teachers to work in our school, the Guide shows our commitment to providing quality support, CPD and development opportunities within the school and throughout IPAT.Mrs Lynette Allison

It is so easy to work with Stoneworks Education. They have so many great ideas. Our Parent Homework Helper will revolutionise parent's involvement in homework. It's bespoke to our school; incorporating our calculation policy and aspects of our English policy. The helper gives parents an insight in to how children learn to read, write and calculate at our school. It's so simple to use too.

The Homework Helper provides an additional resource which increases the amount of our parents able to help their children with homework. This is a great outcome for both school and pupil and also helps to further increase the link between school and home. The more we can do to help parents engage in their child's learning experience, the better. I'd easily recommend Stoneworks Education to other schools.

The Homework Helper is a highly practical, parent-friendly tool to help families get involved in their child's education at home. It offers a unique and professional approach and really shows that we want to work with our parents and get them involved in school life.

This summer we introduced the Starting School book at Shawfield Primary School. As a staff, we are very pleased with the personalised illustrations and how closely the story matches our school and the routines in Year R. I enjoyed working with Debbie to achieve this.
On our recent Home visits many parents told us that they had enjoyed sharing the book with their child and had used it to answer their child's questions. For a child that was new to the school and had missed our Induction process, it was a useful tool to break the ice upon meeting him for the first time.
As a parent myself, I remember looking long and hard for story books to read my children before they started school and was disappointed with the lack of books available. I would have greatly appreciated a book like this from school!
In future we intend to use these books in our Induction process; in the story time sessions and have kept some spare copies of the book in the School Office should any young child join our school mid-year.Louise Morrissy

Our Starting School Storybook will be used from September, to market the school to potential new families. We will hand it out to parents in feeder nurseries, and use it in parent meetings to demonstrate our best practice and show how we want to make life easier for families. It's such an amazing idea, to use drawings and stories, to show children and parents what the school offers, and how Reception Class works etc. I'm overjoyed with our Storybook.

Our Reception Ready Storybook is a unique, parent-friendly way to show our parents and carers what their child ideally needs to do be able to do, before starting Reception Class. The Reception Ready Storybook also shows parents how to equip their child with these skills. It's such a great idea, as having these key skills makes it much easier for Reception Teachers to settle children in to school.
It's an absolutely brilliant way to make life easier for the parent, the pupil and the school. I'd recommend all schools to contact Stoneworks Education, as I think all schools should have such a Storybook.Garry Ratcliffe

This once again looks lovely thank you. Yesterday was our open day for our new starters, I can't begin to tell you how delighted they were with the starting Reception book. As a school we also couldn't be happier. It completely captures our school and it is something so lovely and personalised it will be treasured and used for many years to come. Thank you so much for your hard work on this and for getting it to us with such a tight turn around. Please also send our compliments to the fantastic artist.

Stoneworks Education have designed and created a fantastic anti-bullying leaflet for our school. When putting together our leaflet, they have really embraced the ethos of our school and produced a colourful and purposeful aid which helps explain to the children how to treat their friends kindly and with respect.
