The Parent Handbook is a really fantastic idea. It brings together lots of separate forms and sheets of information into one parent-friendly publication. It makes us look professional and helps to create a parent-school relationship from the very beginning. It's a resource that parents can keep, and should help us to receive more completed forms from parents, and receive them earlier!

We also have a Starting School Storybook from Andrew, and when parents start using our school, we will give them both Starting School Storybook and Parent Handbook. It has become a suite of literature. These two publications not only meet real parent needs, but are meaningful and show parents and pupils alike that we have thought of them.

I'm overjoyed with all that Stoneworks Education has done for Church Hill Infants School. Our new Prospectus and Case Studies were a great success at our induction evening with new parents.  We had a fantastic response from parents who thought it captured the true essence of the school. From the first meeting with Andrew, it was clear that the company has tremendous passion about education and children. It's an amazing idea to use our parent and pupil case studies to tell our school story.

This very different 'parent and pupil' case study approach, has helped our school stand out from others. It is a fantastic marketing tool that is uniquely showing prospective parents just what a school really does for its families. And, by showing that, has put the 'heart' into our marketing. These studies will also be used to further engage parents in working with, and supporting, our school.

I was also particularly impressed with how Andrew managed to highlight our Catholic ethos throughout the literature. Working with Andrew and his professional team was a delight. We chose to use Stoneworks Education because it was the only company that used the views of parents and children, who attended the school, to promote the school to the community. Stoneworks approached the families and carried out all of the background work, including the talking with the parents and writing up those conversations. What better way is there of showing parents and pupils all that the school does to support families!

The Starting School Storybook is very meaningful. By actually illustrating our school, and addressing the main five parent/child worries about starting school, we have shown that we really care for our pupils and parents. The storybook helps to settle young children into school who have first day fears and ease parent concerns. It's brilliant!

I first met Andrew and saw his work with families at the 2013 NAHT Conference. I was immediately struck by his passion for the task, efficiency and willingness 'to go the extra mile' to get it right.

The families his staff were interviewing from our school were not always easy to contact, many of them found communication difficult (for all different reasons) and some needed support in understanding the process. Andrew and his team were patient, understanding and supportive. Our parents have reported that they did not feel either pressurised or judged. The objective feedback we have received has provided both encouragement and challenge and contributed to school improvement

As an academy you really need to think differently about marketing. You don't want to be left behind. Using our parents and pupils experiences to market our academy was a fantastic and unique idea. These studies will not only attract new parents and pupils to the academy by highlighting very real, persuasive and positive outcomes, they will also encourage existing parents to contact the academy and get involved. Our parent and pupil studies show that we are a modern, confident and progressive academy, that is not afraid to let its parents and pupils have a voice!
